Dr. Freeman's early interest in plastic surgery was sparked by a high school mission trip to Guatemala, where he assisted in cleft lip, cleft palate, and burn reconstruction procedures. This hands-on experience influenced his path through medical school at Tulane University, where he distinguished himself academically and shifted his research to reconstructive surgery. At Mount Sinai in New York, Dr. Freeman refined his surgical skills alongside internationally recognized mentors and developed a deep respect for advanced techniques in both reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery.
